We hold special events free for our holiday home owners. June sees our Extreme Challenge taking place around the park, every July we host a Rescue Day, August is time for our Family Day and then in October we have our owners party
With public interest in the work carried out by the emergency services at an all time high, we decided to bring together as many of our invaluable rescue services a posible to demonstrate ‘live’ what it is they do and how they do it. We wanted to provide a platform that allowed these incredible men and women the chance to shine, showing off their skills to the public in a realistic yet non critical environment. We also wanted to have the chance to raise public awareness of safety issues, including open waters, fire prevention and general community safety issues, while giving everyone a fun and engaging experience. Rescue Day 2017 is an exciting, fun family day out which highlights important issues and recognises the vital work our emergency services do.
For the past few years we have hosted this 10k race which has grown from around 50 entrants to over 500 athletes. It is open to all abilities and features obstacles such as walls of bales, skips full of water and muddy pits to overcome.
Every year in September we have our 1940’s weekend with realistic battle re-enactments, authentic dress of the era, 1940s stalls, memorabilia, live entertainment, vintage vehicles and much more. All this is in conjunction with Crowle and Ealand. For more info visit Crowle-Ealand1940s.co.uk
Each year we have a family day on the main field with some water based activity such as raft racing or paddle boarding included and a fun fair. If you don’t fancy participating it can be just as much fun to watch the antics from the banks.
In October we have an annual party for our caravan owners to enjoy with fantastic entertainment, hot food and a spectacular fireworks display over the main lake. Previous year’s themes have included a Casino Night and a Fairground. This is a free event for our Holiday Home owners to enjoy.
